Oh yeah, Wendy’s isn’t bad – at least considering their competition. I used to be a huge Burger King guy once upon a time, but they just kept getting worse and worse. I wanna say it was in like the 2010s that they went head to head, and Wendy’s won outright, imo.

My go to used to be a jr bacon cheese burger, 5 piece nugget and fry. I think it was like $3-$4 the last time I ordered it. Yup, been that long.

All the Wendy’s by me are great. Meat is thick. Baconater and Dave’s Double are both solid burgers.
I just make sure to say no to all their sauces. No mayo! Sometimes ketchup

Wendy’s just may have the best base burger from the low tier of the national chains. Even better than a lot of hyped up regional franchises too.
I had it for the first time in maybe 20 years during the pandemic and was pleasantly surprised.

My problem with Wendy’s, one time it’s perfect but go back two days later and order the extract same thing and it’s trash.

Imo, as a guy who likes Wendy’s, the problem with them is consistency. I’ve had some locations be reliable enough that I consider them a fairly high-tier ff restaurant, but also some of the worst fast food I’ve ever had was from really bad locations.

Been 8 for me. Not one close and a Culver’s is 1 mile away. But I do like a Wendy’s double.

The quality is good but that comes with price hikes on top of the existing increased cost increases for things across the board.

Just be super cautious of their bacon. Usually overcooked and hard enough to cut you. All the fat is cooked out and it tastes like turkey bacon.

Depends on the one you go to. The one by me has ungodly terrible service. And the food is always dry and old. Went through the drive through last time and they had me and three other cars wait 20+ minutes after paying. When we finally went inside the manager was like “you ordered? We don’t have it in the system”. Meanwhile the guy at the drive through window handing out food watched us all wait.

Dry burgers that taste like they’re a day old, soggy fries and the order is wrong about 75% of the time..

The closest one to me got closed for good, due to failed health inspections. Poor Dave Thomas was rolling in his grave for this one.
