It was super cool, there were like 400 cakes there at the meet up in Seattle today! First time making this chocolate orange ganache cake and was happy with how it turned out. I'm not the best decorator but the flavors were fantastic! Bonus pic of some of the other entrants 🙂

This reminds me of something we did in grade school, called a cake walk. Maybe it was a common fundraiser but I just remember that you bought a ticket and stood on a number and if your number was picked you got to choose a cake.
I never won a cake but they looked SO GOOD and I was always so disappointed.
