[Music] morning and welcome to the Sunday Sunshine Show today we’re in the kitchen so today’s video is in collaboration with Tina and Maria tina from Tina’s Talk Time and Maria from Maria Crocker both their channels are going to be linked in my description box go ahead and go see what they are cooking we are all three doing vegetarian dishes for a change and uh I’m doing two i’m doing gosh what are they called cauliflower wings and a cauliflower steak and then we’re going to make our own sauce so I think I’ll start off by doing the sauce and my husband might hop in and help at some point too um you guys seem to like him joining in with the videos um so anyway let’s do the wing sauce first so for the sauce you would need these ingredients butter your choice of hot sauce white vinegar cayenne pepper garlic powder and woristers woristersha sauce and I’ve made a little recipe card so you can take a picture of it um if you want to make your own sauce at home so um I’ll put that up right now so you will need one cup of hot sauce oh I can smell the heat from here oh that that’s gonna pack a punch right there half a teaspoon of what’s it called garlic half a teaspoon of garlic powder half a teaspoon of cayenne pepper 2 tablebspoon of white vinegar half a teaspoon of worcester wor I can’t say it woristers sauce and then half a cup of butter which I need to melt in the microwave because I just pulled this out of the freezer i forgot to pull one out earlier so I did purchase two mediumsized cauliflowers one for each um dish because the steaks I want to cut pretty much out the center of the cauliflower and then the outsides I can use as the fuettes for the chicken um bites or the chicken wings not chicken wings cauliflower wings it’s a vegetarian dish so um and did you know that you can actually use every part the cauliflower so the leaves the stalks everything can be eaten but that’s for another [Music] day hello again uh I was told back by popular demand uh I’m not going to be the main one on this task but I’ve been tasked to cut the cauliflower into basically chicken nugget size so we can make uh some hot wing cauliflowers so as you cut the cauliflower up you know how it disintegrates and crumbles um so we got our let me show you this we got our little chicken or cauliflower nuggets here and I’ve got in another pan the cauliflower steaks which we’re going to do second but as they crumble and break off I’ve saved all these little pieces for a salad so they don’t have to be cooked just put them in the fridge put a lid on them and save that for a salad so we’re going to crack on now with the cauliflower nuggets okay what we’re going to do next is we’re going to season the cauliflower and we’re going to put a little texture to it as well so that the hot wing sauce will hurt her to the uh cauliflower so I have garlic powder and I have some bread crumbs bread crumbs but you can use any brand of bread crumbs you like just just so what we had in the pan in the pantry also I’mma use a little bit of garlic powder because that kind of goes a nice blend with the hot wing sauce so here we go you can use oil if you don’t want to use the spray to me the spray is a little less messier a little bit little bit cleaner just mix them up a little bit here we get a little spray on both sides then we’re going to put them in the bowl here probably could use a bigger bowl [Music] see that’s where it’d end up on the floor if I tried that then I have to use a little milk you can use any type of milk um that you have in your refrigerator we’re going to cut the air fryer on so it might be a little noisy but we need to get it preheated first it’s time for a little drizzle of milk [Music] what’s the reason for the milk the milk helps keep the caulif the uh breadcrumbs onto the cauliflower you can see that little bit of coating that’s on the cauliflower i have no idea what’s the time frame to air fry these uh I’m not a personally a cauliflower fan so I don’t cook with this a lot but we’re going to just have to keep checking it and at the end of the video we’ll let you know how long it actually took us uh for these to cook in the air fryer but I would imagine we’re going to start off with about 8 to 10 minutes meanwhile in my part of the kitchen the sauce is saucing we just got it on a low heat just to mix the butter and the um all the spices and the hot sauce together okay I’ve done half of them the first batch i did them six minutes on one side and then I turned them over and did them four more minutes but the rest of these I’mma try not turning them see how they come out and just do them on one side this is the second half like I said I didn’t I wasn’t going to flip these you can see a little bit different in color and a little bit different in the texture on the crowns at at top okay you can do these a number of different ways um I think it’s less messier saucing them up in a bag you have to this cauliflower toss them softly so you don’t break all the cauliflower i’m about to put them back in the air fryer and we’ll keep an eye on it but it shouldn’t be no more than a minute or two these look done to me ready for tasting remember it’s first time so give your honest opinion they’re spicy yeah I can smell the heat that is some spicy hot sauce but they’re good they are good and they’re crunchy too m so for the cauliflower steaks you will need olive oil kosher salt paprika black pepper cilantro or coriander and garlic powder okay so for the cauliflower steaks I’ve chopped them up they’re on the tray first thing you’re going to do is cover them with olive oil so rub the olive oil all over cuz then you want to season these and you’re going to cook one side at a time so just season the one side [Music] first thought that was cinnamon for a second i nearly had part failure garlic powder we’ve never used this before have we cilantro leaves uh no i have some ground cilantro oh I’ve only ever used fresh cilantro this is going to go in the oven at 425 for 15 minutes then we’re going to pull it out turn it over and just repeat this process now this is where I guess the time and tried to remember that 15 minutes has gone by and this is where the husband would nag me and say “Did you set the timer?” This is true now we have the finished product of the meat yes show show there we go if you’re a cauliflower lover that may be something uh that you want to uh entertain now what’s that mayonnaise no supposed to be you would have uh ranch with it but I don’t have ranch so that’s just for display purposes what is that no it’s horseradish yeah well you’re not eating it with that but I didn’t have ranch if you’re going to have the carrots and the celery you should have ranch so I think that’s an American thing the ranch no the celery and the carrots as a side unless they’ve started doing that in England now but I don’t ever remember having that in England as a side well I never remember having hot wings in England but if you have hot wings it comes with a side of uh carrots julian carrots and julian uh celery and you’ll have a little cup of uh dipping sauce which is normally ranch but I don’t eat ranch so this time it is display only okay at least two minutes so see this is where I mess up that’s why we have a timer so that’s another issue timer [Music] [Music] M you should try this i know you’re not a cauliflower fan but it’s got a nice flavor to it go on in front of the camera let’s see if she’s telling the truth no don’t you think you don’t like it if you’re a cauliflower lover you would appreciate that courtney did you like it she’s nodding yes did you have some of this yeah she just tried that yeah which one you prefer i I think No I prefer No she just pointed to mine i’m not a cauliflower lover but I preferred the wings they were a little too too hot for me no they not spicy they hot there’s a difference no the these are good this is This is some nice flavor
