I’ve never found Costco’s red meat to be anything but meh. Tried most of it, too.

If you like select, at least around here.

I get mine at a Costco in PA and I’m usually very happy with it. Especially because last time, the NY strips were accidentally labeled as flank steak so I got a discount. Good looking steaks.

  4. KY Costco does great NY strips. I sing their praises anytime someone asks how I do steak.

  5. My absolute favorite cut to cook for my wife and I. Nice cook on your steak too btw 🤌🏻

This is a beyond reasonable amount of gray band. Don’t be self deprecating to appease the weirdos here.

I bought a ribeye and a potato about two hours ago and haven’t had the energy to go get up and start cooking

This post was divine fucking intervention, thanks for the motivation

Costco figured they can make any steak tender by stabbing it 100 times

First off, that looks amazing. Great job. Second, I hope your consistency is better than mine. I had a great run where maybe 10-15 were awesome. Then I had a run where I couldn’t get a single decent steak out of 10.
