It should grow back. My goats ate most of my plants. One of them was a banana pepper plant that now has 6 peppers at 3 inches or longer, and others growing.

If leaves sprout from those nodes on the side it can survive but will take a while to grow and harvest. If no leaves grow then its over.

I think it should be able to recover, but just seed another one just in case.

It’s too late in the season for redemption on this one. I would either try again next year or buy a new plant that already has fruit on it.

  5. I snapped a fruiting pepper plant last year and thought it was over as well. I left it there just to see if it would do anything and it bounced back. It actually gave me a lot too. You should be fine given how early in the season it is.

By the end of the season it’ll be huge, just hold off watering for a bit
