I purchased a pellet grill and cooked on it for the 4th time tonight and noticed these large paint bubbles. I contacted Pitboss and they said it’s cosmetic and not covered under their warranty. Has anyone seen this before?

I would demand a refund from the store or blast PitBoss all over social media.

That’s bs. Push back on pit boss. Unacceptable

Are you fucking kidding me? I’m petty so I’ll probably just save this picture and post it for anyone asking about pitboss. 😂

Also, the title of this post should have Pit boss in it.

  4. It sucks but it’s quite norm for Pitboss. For a budget grill I suggest Z Grills.

Go over to the pit boss sub…it’s fairly normal lately. It’s a damn shame the quality is so low but they’ve talked about it.

That’s a joke. I’d snap on the place I bought it from and on Pitboss. No way that’s normal

I hate to be the guy but…. these things are cheap for a reason

Wow, what a crock. I have an el cheapo Dyna-Glo that’s 3 years old, been up to 350° doing chicken/turkey plenty of times and not one issue with the finish.

Makes you wonder what kind of paint is getting in your food.

Not trying to be rude, but this is what happens when people buy cheap pellet grills. This is the name of the game. Cheap quality, and thin metal, slap on some cheap paint that can’t even handle heat.

Really unless it’s 14 gage steel or thicker, there’s almost no way these things are lasting the test of time.

  12. My first pellet grill was a Pit Boss and did this very early on as well. I won’t buy another one.
