Entering the supermarket, full of excitement 🐾 Broccoli Trimming it into nice, bite-sized pieces ✨ A melon-sized mini watermelon 🍉 Tomatoes Salad mix Romaine lettuce Plump cucumbers Firm tofu Rakkyo (Japanese scallion), a type of pickled vegetable often enjoyed in Japan Rakkyo Hokkaido Jaga-Butter (Potato with Butter) A simple but addictive combination of potato and butter Eggs This milk bread looks so perfectly neat 🍞 English muffins Ham Furusato Lemon Sliced cheese Miso-flavored peanut senbei (rice crackers) The highlight is the crispy texture and nutty flavor of the peanuts! Ginger-flavored snacks Once you start, you can’t stop This Kinako Ame (roasted soybean flour candy) is so good Roasted soybean flour candy… trying hard to look away Barley snacks Similar to puffed wheat cereal Hassaku orange jelly Shine Muscat grape jelly It’s too cute to eat 😂 Prepping the unwashed rakkyo It came with some peperoncino At a glance, it looks like garlic Trimming the root ends (Normally, you should wash them first) And peeling off the outer layer Rakkyo is an essential ingredient in Japanese-style pickles (tsukemono) It’s known for its crunchy texture, subtle sweetness, and a slightly tangy kick Its aroma isn’t as strong as garlic, so it’s great as a light pickled side dish Since it’s covered in soil, I’m washing it multiple times First wash done, starting the second wash During the final wash, I’m also removing any remaining unnecessary skin While the rakkyo dries, I’ll prep dinner Dinner’s a bit late because of the rakkyo, so I’m making something quick Remove the stems from the perilla leaves Roll them up tightly and slice Romaine lettuce, it’s been a while It’s not always available at the supermarket So whenever I see it, it goes straight into my cart An awkward amount of leftover rice Canned tuna Furikake (rice seasoning) Mayonnaise Add sesame oil and mix well Roll them into nice, round, bite-sized balls Mini bite-sized rice balls 2 soy sauce, 3 vinegar, 2 sugar, 2 gochugaru (chili powder), 2 gochujang (chili paste), sesame oil, sesame seeds Sweet and sour bibim-sauce is ready! Come on, sesame oil… Boil the somen noodles When it boils over, pour in a cup of cold water Rinse the noodles well and mix them with the sauce Such a mouth-watering sight 🤤 Topping it with the prepped vegetables A combo of romaine lettuce + perilla leaves A super simple dinner is ready Bibim-guksu (spicy cold noodles) is the best for hot summers 👧 Tastes like summer Have it with this 👦 Mmm~~ 👦 The aroma is so good 👦 The noodles whet your appetite, and the rice balls make it filling Mmm~! They’re so good together 👦 The spiciness of the noodles and the savoriness of the rice balls are a perfect match Sterilized glass jar ✨ Sterilized it with boiling water, then finished with a food-safe sanitizer spray I’m making it into a Korean-style pickle (jangajji) for a change 400ml water, 200ml vinegar, 200ml soy sauce, 200g sugar Bay leaves Dissolve the sugar well and bring it to a rolling boil Neatly packing the rakkyo in the jar Once the sauce starts to bubble Pour the hot sauce over the rakkyo The amount of sauce was just right! This is a pickling weight to prevent ingredients from floating But the rakkyo submerged nicely on their own, so I’m skipping the weight Rakkyo jangajji (pickles) are done! 👧 Hehe, Siru’s giving the teddy bear a piggyback ride Siru wags his tail, unaware of the teddy bear on his back 🐶 A refreshing morning Starting the day with a light breakfast If only I ate like this for every meal, I wouldn’t gain any weight 😂 Why do I always crave heavy food for dinner or late-night snacks… Someone please stop me Prepping some green onions to suit our Korean palate Chop them finely Making my recent favorite, Tzatziki sauce 🤍 A generous amount of olive oil Adding some fresh lemon juice too Honey, salt Thick Greek yogurt Add dill and shake it up It’s fresh, creamy, and low-calorie, so it’s great for various dishes A versatile yogurt sauce that goes well with meat, veggies, bread, and more Lemon slices Smoked salmon Steamed mixed beans, great for salad toppings I’ll plate it in a nice bowl to make it look pretty Salad and tomatoes Tzatziki sauce I skipped the cucumber in the Tzatziki sauce Gently placing the smoked salmon, cut into bite-sized pieces A field of Tzatziki 🧡 Making some juice to go with the meal Peeling the yam Cutting it into smaller pieces for blending Be careful, yam can be very slippery Banana, a perfect match for yam Yam and banana juice, easy on the stomach A light and refreshing breakfast A trembling hand reaching for the yam banana juice The one looking for a treat 🐶 And the person whose hobby is to tease him 👧 Salmon with tzatziki sauce, yum Salad + corn dressing The richness of the salmon and the freshness of the tzatziki are just perfect It’s like a thick cream cheese 👦 It nicely balances out the richness of the salmon 🐶 Nothing for me to eat today… Finishing up with the yam banana juice Sunny one moment, cloudy the next… Such unpredictable weather Cloudy weather is actually perfect for a walk Such a cute mini fried egg Walk’s over, heading home Going out with my husband An Italian restaurant on the 13th floor of the Daimaru Dept. Store, connected to Tokyo Station Since strawberries have vanished from the supermarkets We’re on a mission to the strawberry buffet for our strawberry fix Salad Cold dishes A bread lover like me can’t just pass by the bread Pasta The main dish, roast beef Pizza My favorite, minestrone soup Crispy and chewy pizza, fresh from the stone oven Strawberry desserts 🍓 I’m just focusing on the pizza and roast beef A feast for the eyes and the palate, full of strawberry desserts Fresh strawberries Each and every lovely strawberry cake Can’t resist this sweet temptation Marshmallows + strawberry chocolate All these sweet treats are lifting my mood And for the finale, Mont Blanc I think I’ve had enough sweets to last me for weeks 😂 A drop of subtle woody fragrance Furusato Lemon, made from lemons grown in Setoda, Hiroshima It’s a powdered lemon made using the entire lemon, including the peel You can easily mix it with cold or hot water It contains sugar, so it tastes like a refreshing yet smooth lemonade Making Dorayaki with a recipe I’ve had my eye on 80g of tofu Mash the tofu until it’s smooth 1 egg Gently whisk the egg Oligosaccharide syrup, mirin (sweet cooking wine) Mix well Tofu + egg mixture 100g of pancake mix Mix until no powder is visible Lightly grease the pan with olive oil Pour the batter When bubbles form on the surface, flip it over Cook until the inside is done, and the dorayaki pancake is ready Yude-azuki (boiled sweet red beans) Red bean topping Grilling some ham for a sweet and salty combo Ang-butter (Red bean paste with butter) 🤎 Dorayaki is ready! Drinks to go with it are Kaldi’s Choco Banana and Cream Soda Coffee Surprisingly, it has real banana bits in it 👧 Take a guess 👧 Which one is cream soda… 👧 and which one is… what was it? Choco Banana!? sniff sniff 👦 Choco Banana 👦 He keeps sniffing because he loves the sweet banana scent Taking a bite of the dorayaki made with tofu With red bean paste and butter This is just too good… I thought the Choco Banana coffee would be sweet, but it’s not sweet at all And for the Cream Soda coffee, I can’t taste the cream soda, but it does smell like it The dorayaki is delicious even without butter and red bean paste Another round of playtime with his best friend today 🐶 I can’t live without my teddy bear Thank you for watching today’s video! ❣️

  2. There is no such thing of Greek Yogurt , they stoling that from the Turkish people! ;). Also tzatziki blabla thing, the name is even … Same as from our Turkish people's food 'cacik'!! They steal everything from us and than saying is this and that.. 🤮.
    But after this, i still enjoyed the video, thank you for the hard work and sharing with us.
