🌟 Ground Beef & Mozzarella Flatbread (Turkish Pide) Recipe 🌟
📝 Ingredients:
For the dough:
1 cup warm water
1 cup warm milk
2 tbsp melted butter
1 tsp salt
4 cups all-purpose flour + add if needed
1 tbsp instant yeast
For the filling:
1 onion
1 green pepper
2 tomatoes
1 lb ground beef
Salt & pepper
1 tbsp red pepper paste
2 tsp dried parsley (or fresh)
3 tbsp oil
Topping:
Shredded mozzarella cheese
🔪 Instructions:
Prepare the dough: Mix all dough ingredients and knead until smooth. Let it rest while preparing the filling.
Make the filling: Blend onion, pepper, and tomatoes. Mix with ground beef, salt, pepper, parsley, red pepper paste, and oil.
Shape the dough: Divide dough into 4 pieces, roll out each one—not too thin. Use a pot lid to cut out small circles.
Form the pides: Place dough circles on a lined tray, pinch edges for shape. Add 1 spoon of filling to each and spread evenly.
Top with cheese: Sprinkle mozzarella on each one and bake at 425°F (220°C) until golden.
Use leftovers: Roll out extra dough into a big pizza-size flatbread, add the same filling and cheese, and bake.

hello everyone welcome back to my YouTube
channel i hope you’re all doing well we’re continuing with our delicious recipes without
slowing down today let’s make a mouthwatering dish I came across while browsing the internet
it looked so good I had to try it we’re making ground beef and mozzarella flatbread a Turkish
specialty known as Pday let’s get started first I’m starting by kneading the dough i’m using
1 cup of warm water 1 cup of warm milk 2 tbsp of melted butter 1 tsp of salt 4 cups of flour and
1 tbsp of yeast on top then I knead everything together until a soft dough forms while my dough
is kneading I prepare the filling i roughly chop one onion one pepper and two tomatoes then blend
them in my food processor i transfer the blended vegetables into a bowl add one lb of ground beef
season with salt and pepper and mix well i’m using dried parsley instead of fresh since I didn’t
have any then I add 1 tbsp of red pepper paste and mix it all together don’t forget to add 3
tablesp of oil i forgot to include it in the video my filling is ready so I set it aside the
dough is also done kneading now I divide it into four equal pieces shape them into
balls and place them on a flowered surface now I start rolling out the dough balls one by one
i’m not rolling them out too thin or too thick the shape doesn’t really matter at this stage because
we’ll be cutting out circles from the dough anyway using the lid of a small pot I cut
out three small circles from the rolled out dough i set aside the leftover
dough scraps to roll out again later i repeat this process with the rest of the
dough until I have all my circles ready my lid didn’t cut through the dough completely so I went over the marks it left using
a pizza cutter to cut out the circles properly i place the dough circles onto
a tray lined with parchment paper then I pinch the edges slightly to shape them and
give the flatbreads a cute decorative border next I spoon a generous amount of the
ground beef filling onto each dough circle and spread it evenly then I sprinkle
shredded mozzarella cheese on top i bake them in a preheated oven at 425° F until the
cheese melts and the edges turn golden brown if you liked my video please give it a

smelled amazing while they were baking I didn’t want to bother with the leftover
dough scraps by cutting them into small pieces so I wanted to show you how I made
one big Pday with those scraps instead i roll out the leftover dough to the
size of my pizza tray and place it on the tray then I do everything
I did with the smaller pes i spread the filling evenly over the dough
sprinkle mozzarella cheese on top and bake it without spending too much time I turned
the leftover dough into a big ground beef and mozzarella pizza it baked beautifully
and the kids actually finished this one first let’s take a look at how the mini Paydays turned out i had placed them on
my wooden board to cool down a bit i place one on a serving plate
and cut it open it’s still very hot i didn’t show too much of this part but you
should definitely give this recipe a try it’s incredibly delicious if you do try it don’t
