Ingredients:
1 cup of basmati rice
1/2 cup of red lentils
1/3 cup of moong dal
2 tbsp of vegetable oil
1 tbsp of ghee
1 tsp of cumin seeds
1/4 tsp of asafoetida powder
1/2 of a large onion, chopped
1 tbsp of ginger and garlic paste
1 large tomato, chopped
1 tsp of ground coriander
1/2 tsp of ground cumin
1 tsp of ground red chilli
3/4 tsp of ground turmeric
Salt to taste
Some chopped coriander leaves
NOTE: Adjust the spices according to your taste.

Very yummy recipe however I have heard from leading health experts that there is no such thing as ‘vegetable oil’ & it is extremely bad for us to eat so can I just use Ghee? Which is considered the safest to Extra Virgin Olive oil.
