I reccomend learning to cook well because only you know your own taste in something. Taste is very genetic, so the best way to cater to what you like is by making your own food.

Wait that salmon costs $5? Wow that is cheap. It’s closer to $15 where I’m at. Ontario Canada.
    Plate looks fantastic!

I’ve been eyeing those for a few weeks now and I wasn’t sure if they would be any good. Your post has lifted my confidence and I thank you!

We do this too except we get sockeye salmon for 6 bucks a piece frozen from Sprouts. Also it’s sockeye season, usually only available fresh and not previously frozen during June and July, some stores will run specials on it.

Nice! I agree cooking yourself Is great because you can season to your own taste buds.

    Is it wild or farmed?

  5. Where are you at? That’s a good deal for Salmon!

Looks good – who serves skin-on salmon with the skin facing up though? 🙂

I’m not crazy about everything else going on on that plate… but the salmon looks great!

I would eat everything on that plate. It looks amazing, and I’m not even mad it was plated skin side up because it shows the skin is crispy and properly seasoned, with the fillet still intact, so the juices are still inside, otherwise it would have shrunk up. Fantastic job!
