This was $20
I don’t really know what the gray/pinkish fish is. And the tuna roll looked very moist for some reason.

I mean, an airport wouldn’t be my first choice for a sushi spot, but it looks fine to me. If it’s not “good to eat” you’d probably be able to tell by taste. The tuna roll probably looks moist because they use ground tuna–often has more water in it. The fish in the middle might be hamachi (yellowtail) and the bottom one being albacore, or both albacore.

Looks surprisingly dece for an airport. I wish even Vancouver airport had sushi of this value

Regular store bought sushi like this is 15-20 bucks. Airport sushi must’ve cost an arm and a leg.

In Japan? Yes. Elsewhere, I’d personally probably grab something else.

The gray-pink fish is just a different variety of tuna. It’s likely albacore. Which is normal.

Perfectly decent sushi, if you are expecting “decent” sushi. There’s no reason an airport sushi restaurant couldn’t’t source “decent” fish.

You’re just gonna pay airport prices for “decent” fish, which is the price for “good” fish elsewhere. I personally don’t have a problem paying decent prices for decent fish. But I wouldn’t order from an airport and expect to get my value

It looks surprisingly edible. But typically I run as far as I can from airport sushi

  8. yes. nothing to write home about but it looks acceptable to eat in a pinch. not exactly destination dining though

  9. Buy first, ask after eaten lol!!! I’d say it can’t be worse than most grocery store sushi.

  10. Let’s repeat: airport sushi.

    Do those words go together?
