Is there anyone here who uses the scrub daddy bbq brush? I’m a bit concerned because you need to submerge the sponge in cold water as it cleans the grates with steam; this seems fine on a stainless steel grill but not sure how safe this method is on ceramic? Does the water evaporate fast without reaching the body of the grill?

  1. Been using for a year. It doesn’t really drip water. It basically turns to steam instantly.

Yea it’s not a problem. Doesn’t drip much at all.

Same response here, only problem I have is the KJ grill grates don’t line up with the scraper on the reverse end. The steamer works great, simplest way I’ve found to scrub the grates. Highly recommend!

I didn’t know the Joe had ceramic grates, even as an option.
