When can I up-pot my guy here? It keeps getting taller, and now it falls over every time there is a slight breeze. It's kinda annoying. I have to set it back upright several times a day.

Can I move it to a bigger pot yet? /s

  1. Have you tried a smaller pot? Like maybe a shot glass or something?

You should’ve repotted yesterday, but it all depends on what you want. The bigger the container, the bigger they grow. You want to keep them small? Repot in a medium container. But generally speaking, that pot is way too small for any kind of pepper plant, and inefficient for water retention.

I’m surprised it even grew that tall in this micro container, looks really nice to be honest. I’m new to this and my guess is that you should have moved to a bigger pot 2 weeks ago.

Yes! Pot it up like yesterday. If it’s doing this great now, just wait til it has some room to spread.

“Time to repot?” ..No, that time was 2 months ago.

  6. Dang I actually love it. It would be cool af to have as an indoor plant although that would obviously be a bit difficult.

Can I get a brief rundown/any tips on how you fertilized it? I’ve got a few extra plants in their starter cups that I wasn’t going to keep but I was thinking about trying something like this just for kicks

I’m honestly always surprised by how big pepper plants get. I have some in 10 gallon buckets that barely get twice this size. Then I have some jalapeños from Walmart that are in a half gallon sized cage basket that gets massive. I honestly don’t understand these plants, lol.

Idk maybe a smitch too much space in the old one. I’d recommend a smaller one for extra snuggly roots.

Filius blue peppers have small root systems but yes needs a bigger pot

  13. How?!? I have peppers half this size in pots 10x that big

I’m actually surprised this plant even got this big in a container like that. Yes, transplant it immediately, it will grow much bigger. Plus, you wont need to water as much. I transplanted 3 of my peppers yesterday and they were in much bigger containers. 🙂
