One of the big things that I like to do for Father’s day is cook a big meal that my kiddos especially get excited about. I didn’t always love cooking. I grew up in a house with no recipes and dinners were a means to an end. Its not that we weren’t fed. Far from it. There iust wasn’t a spark. Meals were a utility.
Fast forward to me meeting my wife and eventually starting a beautiful family. She taught me many things, but one was the passion for cooking. I had to find my favorite methods and styles, for sure, but smoking, grilling and BBQ rang my bell.
I am happy to provide something exquisite and put some love and attention into the food we share at every plate. I am sure that many who post here are the same.
So happy father’s day, and here’s some Oak Smoked Prime Rib Roast, Reverse Seared with a side of decadent potatoes and spinach. The beef ribs were a big hit too!
