No wonder London is the #1 city for vegans . This isn’t all the food I had, reddit wouldn’t let me upload more lol

I’m glad you had a great time. Looks delicious! Respectfully I would suggest it’s far from the #1 vegan city imo though. There are food cultures and religions that have had hundreds or thousands of years without meat or animal products. Jainist and Buddhist foods come to mind but there are many world cuisines that are incredibly vegan friendly. Jainists won’t even eat root vegetables to avoid harming the plant.
I have many explicitly vegan Vietnamese and Taiwanese foods and restaurants here, and when I lived in Asia the vegetarian restaurants were clear about what contained not just eggs, or milk but also garlic and onion.
Where’s the Pav Bhaji (#19) from, please? I’ve been craving one real bad recently

I had to take a minute and check the sub because London Ontario has so many vegan options. I was in awe when my husband lived there for work.

I’m glad you had a good time! Looks delicious 🙂
I was always a little bit baffled when people kept saying there weren’t good vegan options because it was true maybe 10 years ago but over the last decade or 5 years (my memory is terrible) there are so many options.
I then realised that it was vegans from other countries (particularly the USA) and it was a bit of a culture shock to know the US has less affordable options than us. I feel guilty, privileged and lucky 😅

This article https://secretldn.com/london-most-vegan-friendly-city/ in Nov 2024 saying London is in the lead cites 154 vegan restaurants while this lists Bangkok as having 388. https://vegantravel.guide/most-vegan-friendly-cities-in-asia/#Most_Vegan_Friendly_Cities_in_Asia

I hope our brands make their way over to you!
