BTS Jungkook’s Makguksu (perilla oil noodle)

    **Ingredients:**

    Noodles:

    * Buckwheat noodles (Makguksu or Soba style)

    Sauce:

    * **Perilla oil** – 4 Tbsp
    * **Cham sauce** – 2 Tbsp ***(We didn’t have Cham sauce, so we recreated it by mixing:)***
    * Soy sauce – 2 Tbsp
    * Vinegar – 1 Tbsp
    * Sugar – 1 Tbsp
    * **Buldak sauce** – 1 Tbsp ***(Adjust based on your spice level!)***
    * **Buldak mayo** (optional – we didn’t have it)
    * **1 egg yolk** (added at the end)

    Toppings:

    * Crushed **seasoned seaweed** (we used snack-size packs)
    * Optional: sesame seeds, green onions

    **How to make:**

    1. Cook buckwheat noodles (3–5 mins). Rinse in cold water until the water runs clear. Drain well.
    2. Mix sauce ingredients
    3. Combine noodles + sauce in a bowl. Toss thoroughly to coat.
    4. Crush seasoned seaweed snacks and sprinkle over. Add sesame seeds, green onion, and a soft-boiled egg or raw yolk on top.

    Where did you get your perilla oil? I couldn’t find it at my Asian market but then again, I was kinda clueless lol
