Had a great late dinner at Gonzo. First time there and treated myself to a feast.

The standout were the yakitori skewers of chicken gizzard, beef tongue and chicken tail meat. Seasoned just with salt the smokiness from the charcoal and the deliciousness of these meats shone through.

Everything else was also very tasty: deep fried oysters, gyoza filled with bulgogi beef, saba oshizushi and cucumber salad. I don’t drink alcohol so didn’t to try any of their ample beer, sake and cocktails. But I did have their housemade watermelon soda which was a super refreshing.

The whole dinner before tax and tip was exactly $80. Very reasonable for the quality and amount of food. Each item ranged from $4 for the gizzard skewer to $18 for the large serving of oshizushi. Definitely will be back to eat through more of the menu.
