Problem with my machine vertuo plus

Hi everyone,

I accidentally opened my Vertuo Plus while it was still preheating and there was a capsule inside. Now the machine is stuck — the lid won’t close or open fully, and the mechanism seems jammed. I’ve tried unplugging, resetting, and gently pressing the lid, but nothing has worked so far.
Has anyone faced this issue or knows how to manually release the mechanism safely?
