What are these flies all over my peppers???

    They suck the sap much like aphids, had a lot of these fuckers on my lemon balm and sunflowers.

    Soapy water and persistence keeps those suckers off. They like hiding under the leaves.

    Leaf miner fly, if you ever seen lines and squiggles in your leaves it’s from these guys laying larva

    This is not leaf miner fly nor whitefly as others are saying.

    It’s a type of Thaumatomyia fly. Beneficial to garden. No need to worry. Larva live in soil and eat certain types of root aphids. Adults just eat nectar from flowering plants.
