Looks like it was just a piece of bread stuck, now they are shut down for the day lol
Completely unnecessary, you just contaminated the kitchen for no reason will tons of toxic chemicals.
All that needed to be done was the unplugging the toaster and waiting for the fire to go out. I can’t believe you overreacted like this still think you’re correct. Insane.
God help whoever eats toasted bagels out of the fire retardant (some of more toxic chemicals) contaminated store Thanks to your unnecessary freak out.
Just put a sheet pan on it. It’ll be out in seconds no smoke
Lmao, visual representation of overreacting
Saw this yesterday and have been frustrated ever since

When multiple levels of stupid intersect, this is what you get. The staff were most in the wrong for listening to a customer that doesn’t understand foodsafe or how fire retardant contaminates food, and thought a burning piece of toast required an extinguisher instead of just… blowing it out or taking it to the pit to put it out and toss it.
Bonus points to Ms. Hufflepuff for waving the broom handle over it like she could cast a spell to put the fire out
*Really* stupid to have done that as a customer. She could have been liable for any damaged inventory or lost profits that resulted from the business shutting down.
A pro would have triggered the ansul instead just to be safe.
This is why you train your employees. Fire extinguisher wasn’t necessary but neither was letting the building catch fire. When the lady pointed out the fire, a properly-trained employee would have been like “oh damn” and then smothered it.
I thought for a moment OP was this woman. Now I’m less upset, but also more frustrated because she’s
not here to hear the truth.
management completely failed these employees
Ex Dunkin employee here. Yeah they are probably like 19 years old with 0 training on how to put out a fire or manage a situation like that. I worked at one for two years and saw my manager for a total of 10 minutes a shift before being left alone for a whole day. Granted we got away with tons of shit but still
Just poke it with the bread knife and it’ll go through.
“I just saved [xyz]” – You did no such thing. You overreacted. You mismanaged the situation and contaminated the entire building. Thanks?
Haha, I would have put a plate over it, that would have done the job, now the oven is ruined.
Can a toaster oven stacked that close to the ceiling even pass fire code?
There’s like 10 brain cells in this whole video
Bro walking right in there and breathing it in is wild! Breathing in the stuff from a fire extinguisher is really something you want to avoid. Inhaling things like carbon dioxide or dry chemical powders can mess with your lungs, or even making it hard to breathe.
Thankfully Nancy was there to save the morning
Why the hell is that toaster so high?

I would not get a coffee there after you just sprayed that shit everywhere.
All I can think of is the people who say restaurant and service jobs are “not real jobs, they’re for teens to get pocket money” or whatever. This is the kind of shit that happens when it’s all people under 20 in the building.
Everyone in this is fucking useless
Fucking hell imagine posting this thinking you’re a hero when in reality she’s a moron. Call the fire department?! Lmaoooo
Get a damn rag. 🤦♂️ Now that’s got to be cleaned a crazy amount. And like the employees didn’t know what to do in a fire… so you think that’s getting cleaned properly? Haha. Enjoy that extinguisher residue in your donuts.
Maybe don’t put ALL of your employees who smoke vape pens on the same shift?
