I’ve eaten Carolina reaper, I’ve had other very spicy Indian dishes, I’ve had all sorts of crazy hot sauces. But “extra spicy” Biryani is easily the hottest dish I’ve had. Only this has me huffing, panting, sweating, drinking water and begging for mercy while still shoveling spoonful after spoonful. It’s not a short lasting heat like a strong hot sauce, and it’s not a sneak up on ya heat either, it’s instant pain, instant pleasure, and the burn never stops

Traditional or homemade recipes don’t call for much spice. Chili peppers, cayenne, black pepper, etc. But a mild biryani is a waste of its constituents! This restaurant seems to be using the extra extra hot Kashmir powder and maybe even dried ghost chilis? Something is making it insane

Red Chili Indian restaurant in Chesterfield, MO

Ask for Biryani, they have a spice level from 1-10. Ask for 10+ or “extra very spicy”. Extremely important

  1. That’s awesome. Biryani isn’t traditionally very spicy, even in India. Nice to see that there’s a restaurant who will cater to your self hatred.
