Since the caption didn’t copy over from the original post:

Another great tasting with the West LA Reddit Wine group! We again had dinner at Juliet in Culver City – a restaurant that is quickly becoming our new favorite based on the food and hospitality, but is almost impossible to compete with given the $0 corkage.

We split the group into two, with half assigned new world, and half assigned old world. We tasted through all 15 wines blind, guessing new vs. old, and had a fun reveal at the end. We took an informal tally and the near unanimous wine of the night was the 2022 Domaine Latour-Giraud Meursault Les Narvaux. Bright lemon curd and florals on the nose with a bit more weight than I expected and a fantastic mineral driven finish. A very wonderful Meursault. Other very strong contenders were the 2016 Evening Land, 2010 Leflaive, and 2017 Littorai.

If anyone in the LA area is interested in joining future events, let us know and we’ll add you to the Discord!
