what, pray tell, is a low residue diet?

How can a plate of mash potato be a “diet breakfast” ?
The 2 eggs would be diet breakfast

Edit: I did not know what a low residue diet was, I do now.

Oh… are you on the diverticulitis train, too?

I got out of the hospital last Weds.

This sounds about as fun as my diet having a esophageal stent because of dysphagia. I got next week so they can sew one in as a longer term solution otherwise im on a full soft or blended food diet.

That plate may have too much fiber for your dietary needs.

Hey, I’m eating that right now. 3 eggs though.

  7. why are y‘all using paper plates? how old are you?

Ouch. I just got over a a 3-year run with smoldering diverticulitis that ended in the removal of my sigmoid colon. I was on this diet and full liquid diet for weeks at a time.

Though this looks miserable, it’s crucial to let the bowl rest and far more satiating than chicken broth and jello.

Good luck with the recovery from the flare.

this actually looks kind of appealing. i’d maybe add some gravy or something and go nuts

  10. Looks like one of those “prison or school cafeteria food?” posts

You’re playing fast and loose with the words “breakfast” and “champions” and possibly “diet”.
