What am I supposed to do with these? They look like a Dark Souls weapon.

At least your MIL bought you something for Father’s Day

Figure out a way to attach it to your drill and you’ve got a rotisserie! Zip tie on the drill trigger for slow rotation. Extra points for creative use of duct tape on some sort of mount.

Looks like a nightmare to clean but still cool lol

I have these only round. I love them

This is a hint: she wants you to grill some vegetables.
IAmAPirrrrate
Pretty cool way to grill some vegetables without fear of them falling into the fire – even more useful if your grate-gaps are spaced too far
Abe_Bettik
These seem fun and useful, actually. They already make similar equipment for Rotisseries, so this is just the “manual” option without the rotisserie.
* You could do vegetables like peppers, onions, mushrooms, asparagus, zucchini, squash, or any other small, loose items that you would normally use a grill tray for. This design will help you rotate which items get direct heat without picked them up with a spatula or tongs. * I often see Wings done in a basket like this on a rotisserie * I would absolutely try Shrimp * Also Scallops * I think it’d work for Claims, crawfish, and other shellfish.

Grill small items like shrimp, small onions. Peppers etc.

For roasting veggies🩵 love them

Whatever you do, try to avoid foods that will stick in the baskets because these don’t look like the sort of thing that come clean in a dishwasher.

They work for skrimps too

This looks useful. My mom gave me a jalapeño pepper grill rack like 20 years ago and I still haven’t got around to using it. I’ve never even opened the box.

Dude, cut up veggies, spritz with balsamic, dust with roasted pepper blend and grill.
Serve with steak.
Substantial-Bottle38
Dude I’d love that! It would make grilling veggies, shrimp, small potatoes and a bunch of other stuff so easy!

They remind me of the barrels they roast chiles in in New Mexico!
rjcollins1305
Weird? What is weird about them? They are awesome. I use them all the time for mushrooms, onions and jalapenos.
Pretend-Okra-4031
Those are great. Youre going to love them.

There’s a photo right on the box.

Rotate them occasionally and make something other than meat on the grill is what MIL was thinking

200 uses. Engage your brain, be thankful for a useful gift. Wet wood to add smoke, smoke fish, hard-boiled eggs, shrimp and other seafood, crisp burnt ends, meat balls.
Outrageous_Data_3354
I use mine for sausage and peppers and onions. Comes out just like the ones at the fair. I also do shrimp and all my vegetables. You will find hundreds of ways to use it.
Happy Grilling

Weapon Name: Char of the Verdant Pyre
Weapon Type: Fist Weapon
Description: A blackened iron basket once used to roast vegetables over sacred flame. Warped by ages of cinders and seared fat, it now bears the mark of pyromantic ritual. When wielded, the basket emits the faint aroma of scorched thyme and ash—an oddly comforting scent to some, nauseating to others.
Favored by the Mad Flamewarden of the Garden of Ash, who believed that only through fire could nature’s bounty be truly understood. His followers were known to “grill the unripe,” cooking foes alive in acts of grotesque culinary worship.
Skill: Embered Sear Engulf the basket in flame and deliver a blistering combo of strikes. Enemies caught in the flurry may be left charred and stunned, as though basted in burning oil. Can be followed up with a heavy attack to slam the opponent into the ground with a sizzling crunch.

If you can’t think of something to do with those then you have no business being behind the grill. I’ve never seen those before, but in 3 seconds I’ve got like 8 ideas on how I’d use them. From hatch chilies, to wings, potatoes, honestly these would be super useful
Chrisdkn619
Not weird at all. Useful
OOchiBANGBANG
I would use the hell out of those. I use a wire basket to grill or smoke small chunks of meat or chopped veggies, but have to use a spatula when I need to flip them. It would be nice to be able to shake/roll the cage like you can with these.
P.S. as an idea you could grill or smoke salsa ingredients in these before blending/ mashing
jjames34
I do meat in one and veggies in the other for kebabs.
Disastrous-Trust-863
That’s so funny. I got the same ones for Father’s Day from my mom. We absolutely love them. Great for veggies great for wings.
