Outback doesn’t miss, 8oz center cut sirloin with sides for $20? Perfect cook, sensational.

People go out of their way to shit on Outback but I’ve never had a bad meal there. If you have a good location near you, it’s hard to do better as far as bang for your buck.

Purely depends on who’s working that day

Texas Roadhouse gives Outback a good run for their money

Outback seasoning is very aggressive… I worked there for a decade and it is hands down still my favorite… Too much for some but that’s just how it is… Also their wings are underrated… They toss their wing in the bloomin onion flour… They’ll sell you the flour and everyone should try it… Chefs kiss

  5. Outback is better than Texas Roadhouse and I will die on that hill. Texas Roadhouse has to be the most overrated chain out there.

I’m actually surprised to see an outback or a roadhouse on this sub, the value for the money at both places has slipped dramatically the past couple of years as priced skyrocket. Center cut sirloin is def not what I am going to a steakhouse for and the ice cream scoop of ultra dense mash isn’t doing any favors.

Nothing wrong with having an affordable Tuesday Steak at your local chain steakhouse. I get what some people are bitching about here, that they only go out for expensive steaks blah blah blah, ribeye or nothing, self righteous bullshit. If you find a place that makes the thing you like for a price you’re happy with, forget all these snobs and enjoy yourself. This country was built on sirloin, and having an Outback that still does as good a job as they all used to in the 90’s is something to be proud of.

I haven’t been to one in 15 years and I live walking distance from one. How’s the bloomin onion these days?

The steak tastes like dog food though. I went recently just because I was curious it was one of the worst cuts of meat I’ve ever had.

At this point, why not do it yourself. It’s cheaper with better ingredients.

Just ate one tonite and it was surprisingly good

Nah. They hella miss. Last two times I went there, they messed up my order. They fixed their mistakes though

I also had a really good experience at Outback the last time I went. The few times before that tho, not so much. Maybe they’re on the up and up.

Everyone always hates on chains. Who cares, eat what you like.

    My local Outback is great.
    Our Longhorn is great.
Our Texas Roadhouse always over cooks my steak, but I love their rice. So, I order the chicken fried steak covered in gravy. It’s fried, so it’s obviously well done, but still delicious with all that gravy and some mushrooms.

Meanwhile, we have a family-owned “high-end” steakhouse that is absolute trash.

Steakhouses that use shitty serrated knives can go to hell. Give me a sharp knife! Looks good though…

I thought outback was dead. Or maybe it’s just the ones nearby to me that all shut down

I do enjoy them but they miss far too often at my local store. They do fix it but still, the can miss
