Bannock Humane Society will be hosting their annual pet food drive.
That will be Saturday June 21st from 10am to 5pm at Ridley’s in Historic Downtown Pocatello.
The food drive is held on the third Saturday of every month.
You can donate dog, cat, kitten and puppy food.
Open pet food will be accepted as well.
The goal of the annual food drive is to fill up pantries at the humane society.
Food Drive Coordinator Anita Sorensen says she hopes to reach 3200 pounds of pet food donations before Christmas.
“We could really use dry cat, kitten, dog, puppy food for our fosters and for the people that come on the third Wednesdays and pick up some food that they need. Because if they have budget problems or whatever, we try and help them out as much as we can.”
The food drive will be at 911 N. Main St. in Pocatello. The next pet food drive will take place on July 19th at Ridleys on Pocatello Creek Rd.
