So, I work in a Franciscan Mission. We do pretty simple meals for the people on retreats at our mission, but occasionally we get to stretch our legs a little and do a “fancy” plated dinner for some high-dollar donor. This is what we did today. Please be nice, we don’t get to do this very often.

My only complaint is that the gravy wasn’t drizzled over the onion rings because I feel like that would really make me want to tear into it faster and fight the urge to ask for extra sauce on the side lol. Other than that, it all looks delectable!

Looks like you had great fun. It’s all very pretty, and down to earth enough that I’d really enjoy digging in instead of seeing floating dollar signs over each plate and not really letting myself just go to town.
