Wait are we all using the exact amount of salt HF tells us to? Because I always just put what I want in. 😂 Their seasoning suggestions are always off – way too much or way too little, of all the spices! I know a lot of people started HF to learn how to cook but I started it in the pandemic to avoid the grocery store and have kept doing it because it saves me a lot of money on wasted food.

Aye. TThis MOISELF. Especially even after, as a newbie cook figuring out I am a fabulous tasty AF food making cook lmao (barring the first two times over salting). BUTTTTT the whole thing takes 1 hr and THAT 30-40 MIN mark is when I am PEAK HUNGRIII. So insta factor meal it is lmao. Who knew the whole point why nannas used to constantly whip up stuff in the kitchens is because they sooooo knew ……when hungry and getting up to then cook …. Ain’t nobody got time for that!!!

I can cook tasty things without having massive amounts of sodium. I was going to order Hello Fresh until I saw the absurd levels of sodium

How many other chemicals does that Big Mac have though?
If you’re cooking at home you can control how much extra salt you put in.
I Just don’t add salt
This is something you can control though. Pick menu items with lower amounts of sodium, and don’t add salt as you cook.
In all the years we’ve done HF I think we got burgers once. If you’re trying to eat healthy, a [Bacon Mushroom Burger](https://www.hellofresh.com/recipes/beef-and-mushroom-ranch-burgers-with-bacon-62fba6533234607f410f00a4) isn’t the way to go.
