I work in beer sales and one of my accounts gave me these because they’re changing what they smoke their ribs with. I have a Recteq 590, if it makes a difference. Could I just toss one on some charcoal in my Webber? Any ideas or should I just trash them?

I would probably ignite it like a smoke tube in the grill.

  2. My dad had a bradley smoker forever. IIRC if you just toss them on charcoal they will make really dirty smoke. They are meant to be in a hopper fed one at a time onto an electronically controlled heatsource that smolders them.

TLDR; wouldn’t mess with it unless you have a smoker that takes pucks.

No. The Bradley has a burner plate and these are customized to fit on those. Your grill is a pelllet grill, is it not? So you can’t use these unless you break them up and put them in a smoker tube.

  4. INteresting, I’ve never seen or heard of this company. They look pretty well-established though, lots of products.

As for how to use it…I mean, they’re still made of wood. I’d throw it on my drip tray, hit it with the blowtorch and see what happens.

They are made for the biscuit smokers. You could probably just toss in your charcoal.

Those are for a specific smoker that this disc get stacked in a tube and fed to keep it going ……… you could try and toss them in your Webber kettle why not right

I bet you could just park it on the heat shield above your burn pot.
