Radish are amazing root vegetables. I have grown the red and white icicle top variety and love them for their flavor heartiness and ease of harvest. Both varieties can be planted for practically year round harvesting. On the east coast plant seeds outside in early march (striving to avoid fros) for a May harvest, as the weather warms in June the plants will bolt and produce flowers and pods. The pods are tasty. If left unpicked the pods will harder and inside there are seeds you can plant for a later harvest. A second harvest can be planted when it cools in fall! Give radishes a try! They are great.

hi everyone so we planted some radishes and they ended up bolting before we could pick them because it was been really hot here but check it out we left them in the ground and let them flower and now they got these really cool seed pods and they are tasty they taste just like the radishes look at this they are good you can eat them right off the plant raw or you can put them in some food and they’re really healthy for you look how many there are wherever there’s flowers there will be a pod they’re really cute yeah these flowers are really cute check these out so pretty all right if you like us subscribe
