First time pellet smoker owner/user here! Any tips and tricks? Chicken thighs and picanha are the first things on the menu this weekend!

Because of the convection, the heat is more effective, don’t be afraid to smoke at a lower temp for a while to really get great smoke flavor.

I’ve had mine for about a month, I think. I don’t really have a tip. Just do the recommended burn in first, then turn it on and smoke something. Cover the drip tray with foil or it’s going to be a mess to clean up. Don’t forget the bucket under the drain, lol. Made that mistake. Also a mess to clean up.

I was just on their website looking at the Patio Legend 400. Came here to see if there were any recommendations on which would be good for a first timer also…
