Welcome to Day 6 of Moroccan Magic
This is not just a dish. It’s thousand years of spice, patience, and fire… all in one pot.

🔸 NOTE:
This is a simplified, creative take on Tagine’s journey — meant to entertain, not lecture. We’ve done our best to honor the story, but it’s NOT an academic video. JUST storytelling through food, love, and research ❤️🇲🇦

Once upon a time in North Africa… The Berbers invented slow cooking in clay pots. Then came the Arabs! Now the Arabs brought spices with them — – saffron, turmeric and cinnamon Now when they met — a fusion happened. Welcome to Day 6 of Moroccan Magic and today we are making — It all starts with a Pot. Like… pot pot? Yes. A clay pot. So… it’s a soup? No!? It’s not a soup. It’s… Tagine! But isn’t Tagine the thing you cook it in? Yesssss. Can I (just) carry on? Now — remember when I said Spain colonizers brought buñuelos to Mexico? Well, way before that — the Moors gave buñuelos to Spain! Just some
golden fritters doing a world tour. You’re getting distracted. Right … so let’s cut-short the story Moors – Basically the North African Muslims – reached Morocco too and dropped in olives and preserved-lemons into the mix. But it wasn’t over yet…
Enter ze French! With their dramatic accents and dried things like apricots and prunes. Why couldn’t they just wait? I mean, they could have made their own dish Maybe they could only light fire once back then? But through it all… it were Moroccan hands that
kept the flame going. and Honored the patience It’s not just a stew. It’s a story — of spice routes, empires, and patience. And at the heart of it all — the Moroccan families, who still keep this tradition alive… Bro Next time, cook Tagine… in a Tagine.
