$125 is ok.
Personally I think that’s a little steep but I’m in the UK so maybe some of the things you used are just cheaper here. It looks good though!
$125 for some Swiss and Colby jack and a round of something, plus what looks like some genoa and pepperoni…
I wouldn’t pay it. But I also make boards! So my likelihood of buying something is low.
Your presentation is lovely and very inviting and I like the fruit choices. I don’t love adding crackers to the board unless you’re going to eat it immediately; crackers go stale quickly. I prefer keeping them on the side in a separate container.
Someone will pay $125 for basic meats and cheeses? Sounds like a win for you!
If this had some more interesting cheese/meat choices, $125 would feel better to me.
I got 5 on it
The baby’s breath is mildly toxic and should be removed. Other than that it looks great and your price seems fair
If I had to pay for that, I would not be happy.
I’d pay 75-100 max
Please do not put gypsophila on foods because it is a toxic plant which is non-edible, and please consider edible flowers like violas.
We make a similar size board at work for weddings and charge $80 so I’d pay around that mark. Better cheese options and another meat would be ideal though.
All the ingredients look to be very basic /supermarket products. Not very much.
It’s beautifully done with meticulous care! I don’t think that’s crazy pricing for an individual small business. I don’t know that I would want to pay that personally, but it’s not that much more than the cost of a meat and cheese tray at a grocery store with much more appeal. If you’re not sure how to price, it might be worth it to add up cost of materials and then give yourself an hourly wage for the time spent on it and see what that ends up being. You want to make sure you’re fairly compensated just as much as making sure you’re not charging to much
Aside from the flowers which are toxic I think this is reasonable when you consider the nice feta/pickle/hummus.
I agree with others that marble cheese doesn’t look (or particularly taste great) but you know your audience.
How many ppl was this for?
I’d pay $48 for that.
How many people did this feed? I think 3 cheeses and 3 meats is fair for $125.
Of course I just made one for $175 (25 people) and I provided 5 cheeses and 5 meats. I definitely undercharged 🙈
Your fee is acceptable. In the future consider a slightly higher fee, and then you have a little negotiating position if the person wants a discount.
Your presentation is beautiful. Tbh I make boards just like this at home on the weekends (minus the toxic flowers lol) with pretty much the same ingredients and I don’t pay near that. It looks a little… I don’t wanna say cheap, but inexpensive?… as is. I’d remove the cubed cheese and replace with something a little more elegant-looking. I think the cubed cheese kinda throws off the vibe. JMO though, again, beautiful presentation!
$100 but I’d pay $125 if you included a vegetable ramp
Bro why tf would you put toxic ass plants on food?
Truly depends on the area you’re catering to. I would not expect to pay any less than $125 in SF. It would almost definitely be more here.
