Never had it but my wine shop sells it for $250. Reviews are pretty stellar. I’d say go for it.

Full pull had that at $250 for current and JJ was at $195 for ‘20.
Would definitely pull the trigger on it to try it.

Yes. It’s a real sleeper among the great cabernets!

Yep. Definitely worth picking up.

Very good buy. I have had it many times and not a fan, but respect many who like it a lot. If you have not tried it, this is a good chance. One for big Napa red aficionados.

Which location is this?

I’m a big fan of them. Big Cab for sure, so you have to be into that. But silky mouthfeel and it ages really well. I like them at around 10-15 years of age. And that’s a great price for sure.

Wow – yes. QC is fantastic.

I wish I lived somewhere that had anything other than the most recent vintages for sale. I’d buy this in a heartbeat.

It’s the same as every other $100 cab…

That is a fantastic price for that wine. I say this as someone who isn’t a fan of old wine but this definitely needs more time. The tannins are turned up to 10

American wines rarely really deliver value for money when compared to most other regions. Land costs and high capital expenses make for expensive bottles.
However if it fits in your budget and you are curious why not give it a try?
The terroir is suitable for cabernet sauvignon, but I think you can find wines for half that price from Australia, Argentina, Chile and Europe that are just as good.

That’s a great price for that wine, for sure. But it would also be good to know how long it has been on the shelf, if it’s exposed to sunlight, what the temperature of that shop tends to be….all the usual important storage/provenance questions apply here.
If you can’t get good answers to those things, well, it’s still probably worth buying – but I would suggest just buying one and opening it up to see how it is. If it’s looking good, then you could go back and buy more.

Buy them all. But yes, absolutely yes. Have been drinking Quilceda for years and it is lovely.
