I want to buy an authentic, lava stone one. If not, best place to get one?

I like it better but you can make great salsa with a blender as well.

Masienda is a legit company and it will be real lava stone but you can find a real molcajete for cheaper. That being said, I think Masienda is one of those “good” companies that tries to be responsible and tells you exactly where your product is being made/sourced.

Masienda is a legit company and I would bet it’s real. A lot of their stuff seems a little overpriced though.
Check out this previous post that has a few people commenting that they own one from the brand and say it’s legit.
It’s easier to control the ‘chunk’ level, and they’re traditional, but a blender is 100x faster.

Masienda only has high quality products. I would trust them 110%

I have one and it’s very good. It’s a great way to get a real molcajete delivered without worrying about getting ripped off. That said it’s a little expensive you can probably find a less expensive one if you look hard enough

I have their tortilla press. Quality is amazing.

I have their tortilla press and this molcajete. They make very high quality products and their masa is really damn good…especially the blue corn.

Rick Bayless has a really nice one. Granted – it only makes enough salsa for about two people so keep that in mind. But the quality is there and you know it’s legit.
Haha I just read up on Masienda’s website… they partner with the artist, Don Enrique, as well to make theirs. So ya – it’s legit. Is it corporate chef/artist sell out? Maybe. But that doesn’t mean the product isn’t legit. And I have loved mine.
