Year 1 no lettuce sprouted, year 2 all the lettuce bolted before I ate it, finally year 3 I’ve been cutting some leaves for sandwiches all season, and making tiny side salads, but today was the first day I was able to cut enough for a big salad! We have two types of lettuce and also spinach in the bowl. I feel so proud 😎

High fives all around! I feel you on this;) I’m too haphazard for a dependable lettuce harvest;) Every single leaf that makes it to the kitchen is celebrated here✨✨✨
Ah that’s awesome!!!! I just dipped into lettuce this year… not great so far lol
Mmmm…. Looks good!
Nicely done OP! The first year I grew lettuce, it was such a delight once it was ready to pick, and I’m stoked for you to be experiencing the same triumph!
I’d highly recommend trying Frizzy Haired Drunken Woman lettuce if you plant more next season/this fall – it’s been my favorite to start from seed (I currently have too much, so be prepared to give lots away)
