Well my son who isn't quite 2 has inherited my love for sushi. Keeping it safe with California rolls for now but before long we'll have to try a dynamite roll.

Both my kids (5 and 1.5) love to go for sushi! 5 year old eats avocado rolls and edamame and the younger ones eats whatever I put in front of him! Haven’t tried raw fish yet, but he’s a fan of tempura shrimp!

Sushi is the most popular food among kids in Japan, more so than curry, omurice, etc

I’m so glad my mom fed me sushi as a kid. I can’t stand when grown adults call it gross or slimy when they’ve never even tried it.

My guy has been super into sushi since he could eat solids. His favourite is an ebi/avacado roll and ebi nigiri.
I don’t even remember sushi being a thing when I was little. Mind you my Scottish parents wouldn’t have touched it with a 10′ pole. Cooked to death meat and potatoes was the norm.

You gotta share this in r/foodbutforbabies! They’d love it! (I do as well, even though I neither have nor want a baby.)

My younger brother loves sushi and it’s because when he was around 1 we introduced him to avocado and sweet potato rolls
