  1. You should try making Mie Aceh, one of the most underrated noodle dishes. Its a cross between Chinese and Indian cuisine.

  2. You can definitely make them easier tho, but this one looks delicious 🤤❤️

Nasi goreng was my first cooking dish as Indonesian little girl. I use sausages instead of chicken, no shrimp paste, no grinding. And when adding rice, add chicken stock powder. Way easier, only 1 pan/wok to wash 👍🏻

  3. Indonesian fried rice doesn't need too much soy sauce, just a little bit. And you no need to add shrimp paste. You just need garlic, chicken shredded, overnight rice, a little bit of soy sauce, pepper, and salt. You need to cook with the wok. And your nasi goreng is too wet because of too much soy sauce. I'm Indonesian btw .

  4. If you eat it every day in Bali it doesn't mean that other parts of Indonesia like it. In Semarang nasi goreng is as sweet as you show but in Bandung it's not as sweet. Trassi is always a must and pepper and anjini moto too. I am not an Indonesian but I lived there for 22 years..
I prefere the version without ketchup Manis….

  5. Thank you! dont listen to anyone else. this one is the right version with terasi. if you want to make it a little abit unhealthy but delicious, use minyak jelantah (used oil)
