First year growing peppers. When I transplanted all the peppers I tossed some pollinator flower seeds around them. I threw in some dwarf sunflowers on the west side of the peppers for the idea of providing evening shade in July/August. I’ve already harvested a few peppers but am wondering if the sunflowers may stunt the pepper’s future growth/production.

    Those are marigolds. Dig them up and replant them somewhere you actually want them!

    Marigolds are great companion plants, they run defense for your chillis

    Yes remove the sunflowers. too big to be next to peppers. don’t want anything shading them out.
