When new growth shows discolouration, but the bottom leaves don’t, it’s generally overwatering.

I’m surprised it’s gotten that far in such a small container

Just grab a bottle of Fox Farms Grow Big 3-2-6 Hydroponic Plant Food. It’s fully loaded with everything your Solo Cup plant needs, and you can stretch a single bottle a very long way. This formula is complete and includes calcium which is missing from many of these formulations. Dilute to 50 ppm N which is 14 ml Grow Big to 2 gallons of water and use this dilution every time you fill the reservoir cup (every watering).

I think its missing something but not sure which nutrient. I grow peppers in cups of coco coir and feed them maxigro. Its one powder i mix in water and it has all the nutrients needed. Works great in coco, hydro, and soil.
I can’t grow shit in solo cups my dude, so I should be asking YOU the questions.

For basically torturing the roots, to get 3 peppers is pretty nice

Roots need more room. I use solo cups after seedling trays. Clear inside so I can see the roots as they grow.

Looks like iron deficiency. Peppers need a lot of Mg and Ca besides universal N-P-K. And also quite a lot of micronutrient Fe compared to other plants.
My overwintered plant had these yellow new leaves and short new branches when it had Fe deficiency.
I also grow in small pots using peat based soil. I use N-P-K + Mg-S almost everyday, general micronutrients a few times per month and Fe once in a few months. But I would be better to give it all with every watering if you have very small substrate amount.
