This seems like a really nice deal — it might even drop below $68 with coupons. I was originally considering the Anova 3.0, but I’ve seen a lot of positive feedback on this one. Is it worth it at this price?

Mine has been rock-solid. I also have the newer model form Inkbird (the white one), but I actually like this older model better. Old model has better/simpler controls on the device, can be immersed in slightly deeper water, and has a sturdier clamp while the only improvement the new one gets is a color screen.
I grabbed one with a recent sale. It’s quiet but doesn’t do decimals in Fahrenheit. Overall not disappointed
I have an older model of theirs and have had no issues
Nope. Mine just straight up died after 6 months. It was also much slower than my new Anova at heating the water up.
Love mine
I bought this exact one 4 years ago for $65, so this is a great deal. I’ve never had a problem, and now I’m considering grabbing this again to have as a spare/second, hmmm.
1000% worth it! Works better than anova and is completely silent. I hate hearing a constant hum especially for extra long cooks. It may take a little bit longer to heat up the water but this is sous vide…not an oven trying to crush dinner in 30 minutes.
Thanks. I might pick this up. I’ve had two monoprices break on me in the span of 15 months. Those are junk and the company doesn’t stand behind their products. Every opportunity I get I’ll tell people about it bc I’m so annoyed.
I have this exact one. After about a year the clear plastic guard at the bottom broke, I sent a pic to Inkbird and they sent me a new piece right away.
It’s great for the price
No complaints with mine
Been going strong for several years. Wifi works fine unless you already have wierd WiFi issues on your home network to start with. Only issue is as it’s getting older, it’s been taking longer to get to temperature.
I wonder if a second one running in the bath would help it get the water temp to target faster?
I bought a Monoprice bc I didn’t want to use the IB app. I also didn’t like that the IB app insisted on location information or it was unusable. Monoprice has been great.
For $10 more you can get a newer model that is waterproof AND a fairly decent Vacuum Sealer with a small roll of bags. I have an ISV-100W and this one. I like the ISV-300 because there are no air vents to block if you cut a cooler lid to fit it through, plus if it falls into a sink full of water, just dry it off.
$78 directly from Inkbird on their Ebay account for $78 shipped.

I have that very model and it is currently at 168 for another 5 hours or so with some baby back ribs. I have had it for over a year. No issues. I control it from my phone and I think I paid 80. I also recommend getting the container with a lid. There is a hole in the lid and the Inkbird fits perfectly and clamps with a nice seal. I also suggest you set your container on a Trivet when bathing so not to blow up your counter top.
I bought the ISV-200W for 62,70$ a week or 3 ago on Amazon.
