Contact BGE and complain. They’ll send your out a complimentary bag with free shipping. I found some metal in one of my bags and the new bag arrived the next week.

I have a container full of rocks and other non-combustible material that came out of bags of Cowboy lump charcoal. It’s why I stopped buying it. I had thought to collect 17 pounds and send them to the company to get a replacement bag but decided I didn’t want to pay to ship 17 pounds of rocks.

Royal Oak has the reputation for most non-lump material in it but every major brand of lump seems to have some junk in it. My last bag of Royal oak had a nice golf ball size rock in it.
