I needed more tools in the arsenal. I have various cooking setups(pellet,off-set, a 22” kettle etc..) and I wanted a new go to. I grill on avg 3 times a week year round and have been using the 22” premium 90% of the time. I wanted more height for me (6’-1”) and a setup that was permanent (welded) but could replace the kettle down the road if I wanted. Parts:
-26” master touch kettle
-1/8”x2x2” angle iron
-1/8”x1.5” angle iron
-1” round stock for the legs
-1” sq tubing with plugs
-14 ga expanded metal
-10” pneumatic tires
-4” casters on 3/16” sheet metal
-5/8” all stock with collars for the wheels
-lavalock 8mil gauge near the grate
-2000 deg paint
-a few+ beers
The pictures are from the fabrication, comparing the 22” premium vs 26” master touch, and the burn in. Iam not a welder but a hobbyist and still learning. I scrounged the internet and was not able to find what I liked…. So I went for it. Last item not pictured and awaiting are custom engraved wooden handles.
I am very happy with it and plan thousands of cooks going forward.

Nice
How do I order one of these from you?
And zero Weber wobble! Very heavy and sturdy.
That’s awesome. You should patent that and sell them!
How much? Where you live? I’ll come get it and bring back home.
This is awesome and has my hamster squeeking the wheel on how to reproduce. The 22′ is a workhorse and reliable. But this set up speaks to me the same way as you stated. saving this post. thanks for sharing

Now. Time to bolt on some servos and a motor and now you got BBQ-2-Go
You might need an intervention. LOL

Nice yard.
Wow, You have great vision of a finished product. Great job!
I’m a low achiever
All kinds of sexy right there
That’s a great build. If you ever think about selling that kit or making them for Weber Holics I’m interested. Until then enjoy grilling .
Holy shit! Good job!
