Absolute monsters. They are so insanely flavorful, with none of the "cat food" notes that I'm used to from the standard store brands like Crown Prince. They're more like cured salmon, a firm chew with a lovely umami blend of sweet and salty. At over ten bucks a can they will remain a special occasion treat, but Jimminy Christmas these are awesome.

  1. What is this? Where do I buy it? I’m used to sad oysters from China in soybean oil i get from Aldi.

Try the habanero smoked oysters, they are fantastic!

The habañero hots are the best tinned oysters I’ve had.

Also Ekone is owned by Taylor Shellfish, which produces outstanding oysters and geoduck as well.

They are the best canned oysters I have ever had. But they are one of those pricey, rare indulgences for me.

Delectables for sure. I put them on my Christmas and birthday wish lists.

Does anyone have any other recs for oysters or mussels, I keep getting mushy gross tins – probably because I’m cheap. Any that I could buy at the average grocery?
