

After smoking and searing on my Yoder Smoker 5 days a week, I’ve becomes accustomed to the routine. For my sisters birthday, I made her family and mine steaks. I had to throw them on the egg because I knew for the occasion it’s the only way to get the absolute max flavor.
225 Smoked With Apple Wood for 45 Mins until 100°F internal. Pulled them off and heated to 450°F with cast iron grate. 2.5 mins a side, 4 steaks at a time, no flare ups, no overcooked steaks. Just perfect medium rare.

I am pretty envious. I’m not able to smoke five days a week. Give me something to look forward to later. I guess thanks for the post. Looks like you nailed the steaks.
