I love thick cakey cookies but I'm also a big fan of flat and hard cookies.

I like a soft crunch on the outside with a chewy inside.

Soft and chewy with just the slightest crunch on the outside.

Soft and chewy. Otherwise it’s a biscuit to me.

Soft centre but crunchy edges. I also at times make thin crunchy cookies which I also like.

I’m all about that crispy edge with a chewy center best of both worlds!..

Soft! Legit I would just eat the dough if it didn’t get me dirty looks.

I like a hot cookie right out of the oven, semi-soft. Those look tasty!

Cookies are the American flat cakes. They’re not quite soft but they’re definitely not hard like a biscuit.

    Yes!

I suppose more accurately it depends on my mood and the type of cookie, but both are great!

Bit of both, to be honest. 🤷🏾‍♀️

  16. My fav is the copycat Levain 6 oz chocolate chip cookies. Cooked at high temp for shorter time, you get a lighter brown, crunchy exterior with a slightly undercooked interior. It uses tons of chopped chocolate so it’s real melty inside. I make mine without the nuts but if you like them, I think walnuts are what they use at the famous NY bakery.

I live alone so I weigh out each dough ball (6 oz), wrap them individually with plastic wrap, shove them in a large freezer bag, and just take out one to cook when I want one. I hate wasting a huge batch of food that I can’t finish before it dries out or molds so this is a great method for me (trying to figure out a way to do this with cakes and brownies, as well). 🙃😉🍪

Soft and tender and barely done. Medium rare.

I like hard cookies. Soft cookies gives me the texture of eating pure sugar
