I was recommended a pinch of brown sugar but I forgot it ‼️, I’ll have to try that next time. It still came out perfectly.
5 hours on low. I served with a salad of baby greens, sprouts, mandarins, steamed snow peas, dressed with sesame ginger dressing and some black sesame seeds, and I put some of the sauce on the rice. One thing that helped and I would do again is I turned the chicken about 2 hours in the cook so they were properly coated all over.
Thank you for the rec, fellow slow cooker u/love_and_nature! It was an easy and delicious Sunday night.
Oh and I served it with Thai iced tea and Mai Tais, which was 🤌🏽

Got this recipe from the summer slow cooking thread last week and finally made it last night!
– 1 pack (it was 5 pieces) boneless and skinless chicken thighs
– 5 tbsp soy sauce
– 1 tbsp black vinegar
– 1 tbsp sesame oil
– 5 minced garlic cloves
– 2 tbsp honey
