Walla Walla Valley enters the 2025 Best Wine Region finals, marking its eighth time with public voting open from June 23 to July 21.

WALLA WALLA, Wash. — Walla Walla Valley announced they have made it to the 2025 Today’s 10 America’s Best Wine Region finals for the eighth time.

Walla Walla Valley Wine says that wine experts selected each of the 20 finalists from more than 250 regions across the U.S.

Voting starts at 9 a.m. on June 23 and ends at 8:59 a.m. on July 21.

The winner will be chosen by public vote.

Walla Walla Valley has won first place three times in the past, with awards in 2020, 2021 and 2022. They’re aiming to win this year’s list to have four titles to their name.

Walla Walla Valley says it grows more than 40 wine grape varieties while being home to more than 135 wineries.

“This recognition reflects the deep roots and dedication of our community,” says Liz Knapke, Executive Director of the Walla Walla Valley Wine Alliance. “It’s the result of people working together with care and intention – from tending vineyards to crafting wine to building a place where connection thrives.”
