I’m relatively new to hot stuff – maybe a year or two of actively enjoying hot foods and sauces.
Ive had many sauces which use hot peppers and are rated by the companies on the higher end of a 1/10 scale. But I find this sauce to be almost intolerable unless used as an ingredient.
Am I just a wimp or do most people find this to be really hot?

Might be too hot for you but give a shot for me it’s not spicy enough
Not as hot as it’s brother. All the flavors are 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Scientifically, this sauce is a 2.6/10
Like a mild or seedless jalapeño.
It’s drinkable
Perfect amount of heat for a daily sauce imo.
Like 1.5/10 maybe?
Great flavour but not much heat, grab the Xxxtra Hot version of the same Yucateco brand, it has a good amount of heat without sacrificing flavour.
Pretty mild but good flavor. I know I might get downvoted but I stopped buying it because of the food coloring. I prefer the XXX and the Caribbean anyway.
Hot but quite good. Just buy Marie Sharps
I find the heat comparable to Taco Bell diablo sauce.
0.1/10 in the grand scheme of hot. Tasty though.
Edit:Why the downvotes? 0.1 is actually a tiny bit generous. The hottest sauce those guys make is their ghost pepper sauce with 14k SHU. It is mild, very mild. OP asked on the grand scheme of hot, there’s sauces literally 100X hotter than their hottest sauce, so 0.1/10 is 100th of 10, and this isn’t their hottest sauce so it’s less than that.
1 out of 10
As far as habanero sauces go its about a 4/10. As far as just all around hot sauces this would be a “medium: level sauce so maybe a 1 or 2/10.
It’s all relative, right? Like some people will find regular Tabasco to be hot, and others will find it mild unless it’s of the scorpion variety.
For someone new-ish to spice, yes, I would rate this to be relatively hot. My wife can barely tolerate it, yet I make sauces using my home grown reaper peppers which I find to be ‘normal.’
It’s a difficult question to answer, but it’s certainly in a level above Tapatio, and well below a super hot. Experimenting is the fun, and the more regularly you eat spicy, the more you’ll get to enjoy the flavor, and lessen the sensation of heat.
Anyone saying ‘1’ or whatever is not helpful. That means Red Hot is like -10. On a scale of non-extract sauces (because extracts don’t count, in my opinion), in the grand scheme, this is fairly mid to low-mid range. But that’s because it gets pretty heavy at the top.
It’s about a 2.0 I’d say. XXX is a 4, and Touchbearer Garlic is about a 7. Above 8 is fucking kill me now type of sauces. I’m comfortable with 5 and below rn.
1.5/10
If you’re not really into spicy food? Enough to wake you up in the morning while scarfing down that gas station breakfast sandwich on your first break in your truck. If you are into spicy food? Not that spicy. But it tastes good imo so it’s fine
Y’all are crazy. It’s like 3-4/10. Not crazy but has a little kick. Probably no diarrhea accompanied.
Not very spicy at all but definitely tasty!
It was hotter than expected. But expectations were low thanks to the green color.
It’s a little spicier than most green sauces…. Only cause most jalapeño aren’t farmed for heat anymore
4.5/10. It’s got a good kick that’ll add up

4.0 – 10
Anyone saying lower than a 3-4, specifically 1-1.5, you’re wayyy off. What about the thousands of less spicy sauces? What are they? -1, -5? You aren’t rating properly
2/10
This might be generous, but I would say 4-6 depending on your familiarity with hot sauce.
Hot enough.
For your mum.
