Here’s a peek at what I eat in a day as a woman taking Zepbound, and on a journey to lose a total of 180 pounds. This delicious meal took about 10 minutes to put together, and I didn’t even have it planned out in advance. I grabbed a bunch of veggies from the fridge and chicken nuggets from the freezer. I was quickly able to put together this low-calorie and satisfying meal that was well within my 1,600 calorie budget for the day.
So join me while I prep a BBQ Ranch Chicken Wrap (650 cal.) filled with nutritious vegetables and a side of grapes (150 cal.) to satisfy my sweet tooth. I used a burrito sized flour tortilla, and filled it with diced chicken nuggets, lettuce, cucumbers, tomatoes plus a touch of BBQ sauce and ranch dressing. Don’t forget to season your veggies as this makes a world a difference, it makes the flavor pop.
This was my first time trying meal prep on camera, and I really enjoyed filming this style video. I would love to film more content like this is the future as I have a lot of really simple and delicious meals to share. Let me know what you think of this video and if this is something you want to see again.
As always, thanks so much for watching! – Amy

[Music] hi there thanks for joining me this afternoon i figured I’d um show you what I eat as a 280 lb plus woman on a journey to lose a total of 180 lbs um so I’m getting ready to eat kind of my uh lunch slashd it is currently about 5:47 in the afternoon so I just wanted to prep a quick meal um hopefully around 500 calories and hopefully less than 10 minutes okay so let’s dig around in the fridge and see what I’ve got um so this is actually truly a representation of what I eat all of the time um I’ve grabbed some cucumbers and grabbed some grapes off the top shelf grab lettuce and definitely want some carrots um I think that’s it out of the fridge okay so I rescued some uh just bare nuggets out of the refrigerator and those are um 160 calories for 3 oz and I’m probably going to use about four and a half maybe 5 oz of nuggets um got some tomatoes going to wrap it all in a burrito i’ve got my lettuce my grapes for my side dish carrots for my side dish cucumbers i need to rinse those off and then I’m going to top it with some ranch and you know what i think I’m going to add uh some barbecue sauce as well so I’ll do a ranch barbecue sauce so let me just grab a plate and pop on some nuggets i usually count these as about about an ounce each so I’m going to use uh let’s see six of those and just pop them in the microwave for about a minute and 45 seconds okay so while those are cooking I’m going to wash up a couple tomatoes um you know what i think I want some extra for my side dish so let me wash up a couple handfuls okay and I think I want two cucumbers today i’m only going to put one on the wrap um but I definitely want uh two of these total to eat let me get these sliced up tomatoes aside now I don’t always bother cleaning off the ends of these cucumbers um these are a little dodgy today those cucumbers have been sitting in there 3 4 days and I’m just going to try and slice them uh into long strips just easier to eat so they don’t kind of fall out all over the place um if ingredients go spilling out okay so this one will be my interior uh and this one I’m just going to eat on the side and so guess I should get a plate for that and I’m out of regular size plates guess it is time for dishes okay I’m gonna slice some tomatoes like really thin so they fit in the burrito really well cancel my microwave hopefully the microphone that I’m using you’re able to hear me okay even over all of that racket and I got this knife on Amazon it was only about $20 i think it’s super super sharp which is great um but for people non- knife experienced you do have to be really careful so I’ve got the base stuff so I’m just going to pile these on top of the grapes while I’m doing I’m going to move the cutting board out of the way let me grab the cutting board back so I can slice up my chicken nuggets oo those are hot okay so I’m just going to make this bite-sized so it’s easier when I’m biting into it and I’m not struggling with trying to like bite through it and pull it okay that was perfect going to look these aren’t fantastic nutrition-wise because they do have the extra carbohydrates from the breading and the extra salt uh but when it comes to like eating this or going out to McDonald’s or Wendy’s or another fast food restaurant I think it’s just so much worth it to just eat what you have inside and try to eat the healthiest things that you can buy from the store that are still convenience items open my brand new pack of tortillas that I bought last night and you know what i’m actually going to throw this in the microwave for about 15 seconds and warm it up normally I would throw like a a moist paper towel on it um I did it this morning the same way so I think it’ll be fine and while I’m waiting I’m going to salt my vegetables and I kind of tend to overs salt the fresh veggies that I’m eating because I don’t get a lot of salt in other items i mean if you notice really the only thing I’m getting or any salt in is the chicken nuggets and it’s really just five nuggets which is about I don’t know about 700 milligrams of sodium okay okay I put that in for way too long woo hot hot hot hot because I was running my mouth and not paying attention um so I’m just going to throw a small handful of lettuce make sure you break up any large pieces so it doesn’t like poke through the burrito okay let’s get our cucumbers on there take that one off i’m going to take the end pieces off because they’re pretty thick um and then slices of tomatoes and that knife really did slice those up thinly okay make sure you salt your veggies that you’re using in your wrap you forget that a lot of things that you get when you eat out have a lot of seasoning on it that you don’t even realize is there okay so nuggets in the middle and we’re just going to kind of squeeze on a little bit okay i guess that’s how much ranch we’re using um so I’m trying to use maybe a teaspoon of ranch i’ll set that aside and clean that and the same with the um with the barbecue sauce i’m really going to just try and use about about a teaspoon just enough to give it a little flavor uh without going crazy with the calories okay so let me try and wrap this up oh I just stuck my finger right in barbecue sauce so maybe put the sauce on the bottom okay I think I think I got it oh my gosh I think I got it okay so I got the burrito wrapped up which anybody who is non-native burrito wrapping can can realize like what a miracle that is so I’m just going to hold it here for a second while it cools down and then it should just stick completely together and yes I washed my hands right before I turn on the camera so I know there’s probably going to be people saying “Oh my god she’s touching her food with her hands.” But no I literally I washed my hands washed some dishes and then started uh preparing my food okay there we go so I got my burrito together i’m just going to cut that in half and this is what it looks like looks pretty fabulous so I almost forgot about my grapes so let me just portion out a serving um what I like to do is actually take my grapes and when I get them home I take them out of the bag and I rinse them uh really well in water and then I put them in a plastic container like this is just a inexpensive Ziploc brand and I put a paper towel down at the bottom uh and then I kind of like to arrange them so I’m not smashing them when I put the lid on but I do keep the lid on uh now I’ve noticed that like I that they do tend to last a lot longer uh when I do this and I also do take the time when I’m putting them in uh to make sure that I remove any grapes that have come off the stem already uh and I either wash them and eat them right away or I throw them away um pretty immediately uh and also like if you have ones that on the stem that are bad go ahead and pull them off make sure that you’re washing off that you’re washing off like any mold mildew uh anything visible dirt that you can see so go ahead and wash that off and then just keep them in this container see the paper towel on the bottom and they’ll last fresh like that i guarantee for a week highly recommend that with the grapes um but that is my lunch slashdinner for the evening so when I plugged the meal into my N app it came up to 649 calories which was perfectly fine for me as I had 800 calories left for the day with my first time filming nerves I totally forgot to try this on camera but it was actually a really great meal and I encourage you to try it sorry the lighting on this side of the kitchen is absolutely terrible when I turn you around but I think that came out really well that only took uh in the recording about 11 minutes so I think that came out great so I hope that’s inspiration for you um to find just some healthy things uh around your house that you can put together quickly it’s kind of comparative to some fast food I’ve seen out there so um thanks for stopping by and I hope you have a great day [Music]

Now this is my kind of food 😊 Making use of what you have to make things easy makes it easier to stick to a sensible eating routine.
I will try this during the week, good job Amy
